Public Meeting - How Dyslexia Affects Me

Date: 9th November 2013
Time: 10:00 - 12:00
Venue: The Lecture Theatre, Ayr Hospital

This is a unique opportunity to hear from young people about how they feel about dyslexia. Telling it in their own words!

Don't miss this chance to hear from Lee, Kate, Rachel, Ben, Jack, Abbie, Jodi, Rebecca, Charmaine, Gregor and Kathlyn.

These young people, some as young as eight, will highlight aspects of dyslexia that will make us reconsider the way in which we view it, even in schools. It matters to young people with dyslexia, that they dispel popular myths about what most people believe dyslexia is. They will show why it needs to be properly understood, and taken more seriously.

Maybe you're not sure whether you or your child have dyslexia.

Please can we encourage you to come along and support us in this one very first venture as a youth group. Encourage your children and there friends to come along. This is where we gained our knowledge and help of dyslexia.
