Date: 7th November 2009
Time: 10am - 1pm
Venue: The Ayr Hospital, MacDonald Education Suite
Paul Nisbet, from the Call Centre, Edinburgh will be speaking on the advantages of using technology to allow children, young people and students with dyslexia to succeed in education.
Caroline Cuddy, from Text Help, will be speaking about the advantages of using 'Text Help', the kind of software especially developed to help young people with dyslexia.
'Text Help' software is now used in many schools in Ayrshire and is the software specifically used for sitting exams in digital format - a great advance for dyslexia since it does away with the need for scribes and readers leaving the young person able to concentrate properly.
